Nice. My wife gave me a CD selection of some of Mozart's symphonies for my birthday. So far nearly all my symphonic music has been Beethoven, so it will be interesting to listen to some more Classical music for a change.

Got my mid 90's punk on for my workout tonight.

https://youtu.be/6axOY4PBusk

Blink 182, before they sold out were a great punk band!! This song was before the Travis Barker days. Not that he was the sellout, but this is when they were still punk instead of pop punk in my eyes. *1990's Alyssa Milano isn't a bad thing either ;) *

Last part of the song, guitar riff is pretty bad a$$!

Reading some of the YouTube comments under many of the old songs I revisit from my youth in the 1970s (and the ‘60s and a little bit of the ‘80s), there’s tons of comments like, “Who’s here because of (*insert name of the movie or TV series*)?” AFAIK, I’ve never seen any of those movies or TV series they talk about; or if I have, the movies/shows never influenced me to look up or post the songs. These were simply among the many songs I listened to on the radio and on albums while growing up, when they were new, during the great era of popular music.

Supposedly, Lennon and McCartney had stated that E.L.O. is what The Beatles would have become like if they had stayed together into the ‘70s. Whether that was intended as a compliment, a criticism, or a mere observation, who knows. E.L.O. did draw much of their inspiration from the more orchestral Beatles songs.

The recent "skateboarding" thread in the off topic section gave me the sense of nostalgia and made me remember this song as a teen in the mid 90's. Pretty sure these guys were a one hit wonder.

*I promise this isn't my normal heavy metal crazy music*
