For decades, I’d always thought this was a Neil Diamond song, even though I’d heard about Andy Kim (real name: Andrew Youakim) in relation to other songs.

I used to think Andy Kim must be Korean, or part Korean, because Kim is THE most common surname in Korea, like Smith is in the States. In reality, he’s Lebanese. He’d changed his name from Youakim to hide his Lebanese ancestry (and probably also so his stage name would be easy to pronounce).

Jim back in the late 70s I got to see the "SWEET" band in concert here in Kansas City, MO. They were a great concert band>> they did a version of "BallRoom Blitz" that had the crowd just going nuts :D We had a lot of great concerts during that time slot. But the Sweet had a lot of great music on their albums and I wish I still had some of them.

They also did a superb version of "Fox On The Run" and people just went nuts. They were much more heavy metal in concert than I figured they would be.
