Jehtro Tull album Stand Up may be of interest to you . It came out before Aqualung and is pretty good . Dan

My brother had a bunch of albums in the '60s and '70s. I may have heard it back then...I'll look it up and listen on YT. Thanks.

For some reason, out of the blue I thought of this song this morning. Or parts of it. I literally hadn't heard it nor thought about it since the late 1960s.

Nice one James ! I was lucky to see Tull Aqualung tour . Great band live . Dan

Very awesome, Dan! Wish I had!

I think I seen Jethro Tull in concert about 10 times. They put on excellent concerts.

Many years ago ( 1977) Jethro Tull and 3 other bands did a rock festival here in Kansas City, Missouri USA Earth. The concert was held at ARROWHEAD Stadium ( where the Chiefs play) and there was around 50,000 fans there. They had a huge TV set on stage that they called "TULL a Vision" and for 1977 it was really ahead of it's time.

Robin Trower was also on the lineup that evening and he was excellent. Jethro Tull was always truly excellent in concert. Their choreographers were truly genius in every aspect. Now a days it cost a literal fortune to go to a concert and most of them are trash by comparison. The 70s was truly a decade to remember.

The only Floyd album I like. If Syd could have kept it together, I'd probably own their entire catalog.

I had that album many years ago. The song "See Emily Play" was one of my very favorite Pink Floyd songs which is on that album. Also that's when they had their original guitarist Syd Barrett who many thought was a genius. Poor guy had a lot of tragedy in his life and that stinks because he truly had super talent from all I remember.

ImageThis is the album that started my journey listening to Pink Floyd . Ummagumma . It’s a rather disjointed album like other early albums but so different from other bands . I saw the Animals tour outside in Chicago and was my last concert for that type of venue . I never warmed up to that album but figured it would possibly be the only chance to see them live . Dan

I've long felt that Gordon Lightfoot had one of the greatest male singing voices of all time.

Seeing the Manfred Mann song reminded me of this one. They did a memorable version of this song also.
