Jeff Beck!!! boy that brings back some memories. I remember all the way back to 1969 when I got his "Beck-Ola" LP. That was after him and Jimmy Page broke up the YardBirds. In this present time it's hard to realize that Beck and Page both were in the same band :eek: And when you compare the Yardbirds to Led Zeppelin that's almost like comparing Lawrence Welk to Axl Rose :rolleyes: :D

But Jeff Beck truly seems like a timeless musician in many ways. Speaking of guitar gods it's also hard to believe that Carlos Santana is still going strong after all these years. It's just beyond belief what the WOODSTOCK era produced in top notch musicians :cool:

Joe, there’s not too much I won’t listen to. I just have to be in the mood. It’s Sunday morning here 11:50. I slept in had a shower put on the track below and started dancing (scantily dressed) trying to get beloved wife to dance with me. She reckoned, “Put some clothes on and go annoy someone else you idiot”.

I denied being an idiot, laughed, cranked up the volume and danced by myself. :rolleyes:

With all you guys from Canada I can't believe that more of you all aren't aware of folk music icon Lorena McKennitt. She is just fabulous if you like that type of music. s

Also for you all who like a wide range of folk music it's hard to beat Neil Young. His stuff is really timeless. Neil Young's music sounds just as good today as it did in the 1970s
