All I can say is, thank goodness doctors are often wrong. I hope it turns out for the best!

Prayers incoming!!!....There is much to be said about positive thinking...I know that's something you don't want to hear about now...but my Mother-In-Law lived 25 years after being diagnosis with terminal cancer, and every time it came back she took a positive attitude about it and as far as I am concerned beat it every time.....despite what the doctor's told her.....So keep your chin up, keep your thoughts pure, and most important "fight like ****"...you owe that not only to yourself but the ones who love you.....I will keep you in my prayers daily and send you white healing light, till all of this passes....and mark my words....it will pass, if you do your part...My best....and God Bless.....Doc :D

My wife went through Hodgkin's lymphoma. She persevered and beat it. There is much to be said for positive thinking and stubborn will to overcome. Live strong.

Kidney cancer is tough. You'll spend a lot of time dealing with your friends' and family's distress but don't be a tough guy. Let your own feelings out to your loved ones. Letting them care for and comfort you is the greatest gift you can give them.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

Was watching the Kenneth Branagh version of Hamlet as I read this. Had just finished the "To be or not to be" soliloquy. The undiscovered country should remain undiscovered for awhile longer. Spent a moment on bended knee for you sir. You have my best, and I send you whatever energy I can spare.

After moving to the Seattle area, for the first time in my life, I've had doctors call me as soon as they get my test results. The biggest shock though was my dentist calling me at home in the evening to see how I was doing after a difficult dental procedure.

We're all praying for you to get some good news on this. And Doc Snubnose is right, positive thinking can be of great benefit, even though it may seem so far from your reality at the moment. Just try to focus on things that relax you and take your mind off your worries for a bit. Even one good night of sleep can help. Hang in there!
