Well... I just got back from Iraq, so most of my hard earned combat pay has gone to support my national grain farmers... particularly those growing barley or hops. Never let it be said that I didn't do my part for American agriculture!

I've been on a flashlight kick lately instead of knives. About ready to swing back towards picking up new sharp things instead of bright things, though.

Hehe... that's great you're enriching the local economy of the brew-keeper-colders & barmaids too!

It's great you're home in one piece, Sierra Hotel.

We are indebted to you and your fellow Soldiers for so much more than spoken gratitude, yet: I do So Thank You here for your personal sacrifice and Service - (funny I take less pride in hearing it than I ever do in Saying it. ;) )

....aaaand $$ wise I got my favorite guitar of 25 yrs new onboard preamps, complete wiring loom and a replacement neck position humbucker. Money's slim & been saving and waiting so long...

I haven't purchased a knife in almost a year. I think I realized that at 64 knives, I can only really carry one at a time, so I quit buying them.

Now I've been updating the clothes, after another realization that I really need bigger clothing. So it's been like "going back to school" clothes for most of the past year. And it turns out clothes aren't cheap, at least not the good stuff.

Of course, my purchases pale in comparison with some of the other posters here.
