Spyderco - P'kal - if I'm wearing pants I'm always with this knife. Deadly.
Benchmade - Ruckus - big blade, awesome deployment, great cutter.
Emerson - Combat Karambit - has a wave, Chicago-length blade. Deadly.
Cold Steel - Recon Scout - best all-purpose fixed blade for the car.
CRKT - Hisshou - beautiful, scary, awesome.

WOW, nobody likes Gerber with the exeption of one person?? does everyone really think they're that bad?

Gerber: 06 automatic tanto (old version with grey handles, not the new ones with black)
Spyderco: black endura III vg10 SE
Kershaw: black tanto blur...very quick opening, but not like the al mar
Al Mar: black/black partially serrated auto SERE...fastest knife i have ever seen!

this just made me realize...all the many, many knives i have, i only have 4 brands really that have knives i like and most importantly, trust.
