USN Forum
A while ago I inquired with a member here about joining the USN forum, apparently he would be able to help me gain access since my ISP provided email is long since forgotten. I don't recall who it was now and he never did get back to me but I would sure love to join if that is possible. Especially since I just purchased a CQC 7 and I heard Emerson is very active on those forums. Thanks in advance for any help

server's working fine, have no problem logging in from here.
I created an account years ago (4/4/04 apparently) to view a few deals and pics. I'd suggest using a work email account, although both our local ISPs give you an email account (and they're able to tell you what it was AND reset the password if you ask).

Why do people worry more if you argue with your voices than if you just talk with them? What about if you lose those arguements?
Slowly going crazy at work... they found a way to make the voices work too.

Okay...
My Dear Friends,
If you have difficulty registering or have trouble with an older account just email mare@usualsuspect.net and she'll get you taken care of.
There have been a lot of outages on the USN of late:

As you've probably noticed, the USN has been glitchy/lagging lately, especially on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.
There are a few reasons for this. Primarily it's because our server ISP recently sold off their dedicated server business to a new company (actually a better company), and they're in the process of moving all of the servers to their new facility (which includes the USN server), so we're experiencing brief/temporary outages at random intervals. I'm sorry about that, but it's out of our control. This will clear up within the next few weeks.

The good news is that we'll be getting a brand new kickass server here in a few weeks and none of these problems will exist anymore. So just please be patient and pretty soon you'll have a much faster USN.
Thanks everyone and we apologize for any inconvenience.

I'd compare it to the recently discovered jerzeedevil.com forum. Very similar. There are lots of custom knife members active on the forum, and a large buy/sell/trade section (which you have to pay 35 dollars/year to view, and I haven't done). It tends to focus on extremely high end knives, and it also has sections for firearms, end of the world scenarios, self sufficiency, gadgets, etc. If you have a non-free email you can register to see what it's about at usualsuspect.net.Seanski wrote:What is the USN forum? I got on the USN with my college email I now have, it's a pretty decent forum, even has a Spyderco section :) I'm actually on every english speaking knife forum around as far as I know. My top three are this one, USN and the JerzeeDevil. I also belong to a few other forums that have knife sections like Survialist Board and Canadiangunnutz. I also paid my $35 at USN to join the Cove for a year, I've only bought one knife off there so far, but I've sold enough to warrant the $35 charge.
