Shaved my head with CPMS30V

#1

Post by Doc Pyres »

I was curious to see if, in a pinch, my Spyders would work to shave my head. As I usually sport a clean shaven head, I started thinking what would I do if I were out in the field for an extended amount of time and had no razor to shave my head with. Well, I gave it a go with my orange UKPK, and it worked quite well. It's definitely all about getting the right angle and having a very sharp blade. And a good mirror helps. :)

Doc,

Your a crazy man. lol
Normally shaving requires a very thin blade..
I however shaved myself with a caly 3 without cuts... Impressive for the stockmaterial this knife has don't you think??

Now this thread sucks without pictures..

there are also wedge razors that are not hollow ground much if at all
its all about the edge angle and the honing / stropping

dont hurt to have good form when shaving also

Sorry, never been so good with a camera. Just imagine a large bald guy with a small orange UKPK in his hand and a big smile on his face. Something like this --> :)
