We are finally home!

#1

Post by Axlis »

After 59 days in the hospital with my son Emerson, we got to come home today! I want to thank all of you who have supported us with prayers and kind words, it really means alot that so many people cared about us, we went through some really dark times there.

We've still got a long way to go with chemo and all that junk, but hopefully the "complications" have passed and we will get to stay at home more often than not. I just ask for prayers that Emerson's immune system can hold up and that he doesn't get too sick. I also ask for prayers that Emerson gains movement back on his right side, and that his shunt doesn't mafunction again.

Thanks for all the support, and God Bless You All!

Thank you for the update. May you recover quickly and your spirit keep on staying strong.

You guys hang in there. This is a long, hard road that any parent of young'n's could unexpectedly find him/herself walking. I'm sorry it's you guys while at the same time I'm cautiously glad it's not me. I sincerely pray that you find the strength and discernment that you need as you need it, and that at the end of all this you find yourselves with a healthy, cancer-free little guy, looking at the start of a long, healthy, productive life.
