I believe that Rick is using Duratech 20 CV. Thank you for the compliment!

Recent non-Spydie stuff carried

#23

Post by KaliGman »

Recently, while carrying a Military or Gunting, I have carried my custom Lava by STR (Black and Tan G-10), backed up with an Emerson Combat Karambit folder, and a Boker MPT or Emerson Fixed Blade Karambit. Sometimes other bladed stuff gets carried as well  . Other than that, mostly I am carrying a Glock 21 with Surefire X200 light attached (it's winter and I can conceal the big stuff easier than in the summer :D )

Well, I always carry my D2 millie when out in "civilized" world, but when I go to the woods to mess around, I leave the millie at home and carry a FBM. It is honestly my favorite non-spydie to carry :D

Very rarely, I will carry a SAK of some sort--Farmer or Cybertool 29 or Huntsman.

EDIT: Well...FBM is sold, but now I have a CRK Large Sebenza. Guess that is my new non-spydie favorite :D

Such thing doesn't exist.
Why would I carry anything non-Spyderco?

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

For two years, I switched back and forth between my Adventura and my TiNi Leek. Haven't carried the Leek in a few months and the only other EDC non-Spydie I own is a Wharcom. Mostly though, it's 3 or 4 :spyder: 's in my pockets. :D

Left pocket always has a Bic and a Victorinox Ranger. Here's a borrowed shot of it:

It may not be the best steel, but it sure comes in handy!

My right pocket might have a Buck Alpha Dorado 271, Spyderco Native, or Byrd Robin, or Fallkniven U2 in it. Just depends on the day.
Current Spydies: D'Allara VG10 (Japan), Native PE (USA), Byrd Robin (China) :spyder:

If there isn't a Para or Caly III in my pocket then most likely it will be a Benchmade 732 Ares. Best knife BM has ever made IMO.
