I don't follow football at all, and I only watch the Superbowl for the commercials; but I do find it admirable that the Patriots pulled off a perfect season, and I hope that they win the Superbowl to give a perfect finish to a perfect season. :)

My Packers lost so I'm pretty bummed out. But I'm an NFC guy and still think of the AFC as the "young upstarts" so I guess I gotta pull for the Giants. But on the other hand it would be historic to see the Pats pull of the perfect season all the way thru the big game. Remember, the Red Sox won the World Series and the Celts are reportedly doing well in the NBA. Wouldn't it be something for the Bruins, the Celts and the Pats to be able to pull of world championships to go along with the Sox's WS trophy? Sheesh. Title-town USA.

All that said, it doesn't really matter who's playing. It's the Soooper bowl. It would be unAmerican to miss it. Besides, spring training and America's REAL pastime is right around the corner. Less than 30 days 'til pitchers and catchers. Tick tock!! :D

I barely pay attention to sports... if there's a game on while I'm at the bar, I'll watch. But my TV at home only really gets turned on to watch movies.

Even when the riders won the grey cup, I only watched the semi and finals.

I'm a 49er fan and have been since I was little.

I will definitely be rooting for the Giants since I am sick of hearing about the Patriots and Brady. Especially the Brady to Montana and Young comparisions. Then again maybe if the Patriots end up winning then we can finally stop hearing about them. Anyways I am bummed that football is almost over. :( I guess it means I will get more done on Sundays.

You're missing the "who gives a **** what a bunch of juice-ridden freaks do for corporate America?" option.

Oooops: missed that Michael had already covered that, more-or-less.

If the Patriots win will we stop hearing about the '72 Dolphins??

I'd like to see a perfect season, a little bit of sports history-making is always fun. I'm not going to be devastated if it doesn't happen, I just hope the game is fun to watch.
