This was sparked by another thread. The question being :
what would you like to see in a new :spyder: model?

One device which might prove interesting is the Carson
flipper ( if we recall the CRK&T M-16 line of their knives ) -

As I stated on that other thread, I don't think it's overkill as
the cobra hood performed a similar back-up / alternate function
for opening.

What device would you like to see? Or what new model type?
Or which custom collaboration?

I'm thinking something Waved with G-10, and H-1 (with full Salt treatment).

The flipper isn't a bad idea, though. :)

I have no interest in flippers. I don't care for them at all. Thumbing open a knife is fast enough for me. I also have no interest in assisted opening or autos.

Honestly with what is already coming out in 2008 there is only one thing I would love to see. A CPM-D2 Foliage Green G10 Para-Military. :D

I agree with David , an upgrade Para in D2 CPM , no Black blade , please . Not hot on flippers or SA knives , hole is all I really prefer most of the time . MG2

More ambidexterous locks and handle scale colors; especially for the FRN knives.

For some reason I would really like to see the cricket with a Flipper.
Call me crazy, but i think it would be very cool. Plus it provides more of a choil as well.

FG D2 Para please :D :D

Black blade would look really nice, and would eliminate the possible rust issue :)
