First, thanks for this topic!! I love the topic of shoes and SD!!!
My Sifu and Sigong have both worn Pumas, not sure which model, and Adidas Sambas.
For me Sambas are the most comfortable shoe I can buy as long as the arch support isn't worn down.
If I needed only 1 shoe, it would be the New Balance 790 in black!! This shoe weighs absolutley nothing!! It's good for Kung Fu, running and I wear them at work and I walk a few miles a day in Seattle!! I did put some inserts in them, and man! So comfortable!!
The Samba is about 30-40 bucks cheaper than the New Balance 790 and keeps you very level on the ground. Also very good for driving shoes!!
