Almost everything from Monty Python
Red dwarf series

There are many others but one that gave me lot of fun recently (and I saw it many times before :) ) was

Fanfan la Tulipe (the 1952 version)

(you won't know following but I have to add it: any theater play of Divadlo Jary Cimrmana])

Blazing Saddles...

#37

Post by AllenETreat »

This prodigial comedy was the combined brainwork of Mel Brooks
and the late Richard Pryor. My favorite line in the movie is where
the townsfolk are leaving and Cleavon Little ask's for 24 hours to
stop the marauding invasion...

....24 hours, that's all I ask!

NO!

You'd do it for Randolph Scott!

Randolph Scott!!!!

Another vote for Blazing Saddles. Pure brilliance, and IMHO, the best comedy he ever did. Robin Hood: Men in Tights was also fairly good.

Anyone ever watch Down Periscope? I always thought that was a good one, if not entirely accurate in regards to the navy.

I'm pretty sure John Candy was Canadian, unless you are referring to where the movie was made and not where the actor is from.
