Ragnar will set you up. I can vouch for him.

Example, Finnish balisong with a Puuko blade (who knew)

if you are looking for single knives you can sometimes find good deals on ebay. i got a frosts clipper for $9 shipped, and there were plenty more at the time i bought it.

but if you are getting a few blades ragnar seems the way to go.

Good job finding it on Ragnar's site. It is somewhat buried there. The last place most would look for a balisong.

Have you seen his links? And I thought I was thorough. Make a sandwich and get something to drink before you start down that list. I had no idea that there was that much out there for reenactors. However, I did not check each link, just looked at the long list.

Received the Finlander bali today via Priority mail, well packaged, from Ragnar.

Inexpensive ($22 delivered), hair shaver, light weight, just short of 8.25" OAL open, actually flips (after smoothing stop pin detent on one of the handles to overcome stiction) and locks open quite well.

I used 3M polishing paper to smooth small patches of sharp edges from about 1/2 of the pins.

A capable user (love the novelty, simplicity, economy and the scapel edge). :D

All the best,
