"Isn't that just like a wop? Brings a knife to a gun fight."

I'm sure someone will find out where that quote is from. :D

Seriously:
"Life's too short to carry crappy knives."
is a quote I have from someone's sig line in the german knife forum.
The original reads "Das Leben ist zu kurz, um poplige Messer zu tragen."

Certainly something we all live by. :)
Few people think more than two or three times a year; I have made an international reputation for myself by thinking once or twice a week. -George Bernard Shaw

Awww, someone beat me to exposing the quote. :p

I was told by a humanities teacher in high school that William S. Boroughs (the beat writer and subculture dude from the '50s or whatever) supposedly was accused of murdering a woman (wife? girlfriend?) in another country, and there was a quote attributed to him:

"So long as you use a knife, there's still a little love left."

It's sick, but it's knife-related.

War to the knife. Knife to the hilt.

Even when the world is at peace, a gentleman still keeps a blade by his side.
- from the "Strategies of Wu."
There is a world of differance between a knife fight and killing a man with a knife. If knives are in your line of work, learn to kill quickly, not to duel with an opponent.
It shouldn't be a fight at all.

This one is from an old blues song, I believe it was recorded just before WWI.

"Gonna cut ya four different ways, that's long, short, deep and wide...."

Always liked this one for some reason.......

I actually have a text file of knife quotes on my PC. Its never really come in handy before.

A mans strength and wisdom is much like a fine sword, refined by fire folded by a expert craftsman and finally when you have a perfect sword or man you are sharpened and honed and you never loose your edge if your Maker is God the Father and Jesus is your Saviour.

Better to have and not need than to need and not have.
