I have to say just good old Bud Light.

Say it's watered down or whatever. I like it.

What kind of beer?

COLD
Image

I love a good Hefe Weizen - maybe my favorite

Some random brands / styles:
Bert Grant's Summer Ale
Negra Modelo
I love Guinness and Sam Adams' Cream Stout
Pils - Reininghaus & Dinkel Acker

What I don't like are fruity beers.
Lambics, Trappist, Abbey, Whit, Belgian, whatever

****, I'm thirsty.

Jbake I must disagree, beer with flavor should be served at basement temperature. Hmmm, now I want a brew :p

Castle Lager, the beer in this country tastes like its watered down.
The one Lager I like here though is Squatters, tastes pretty much like Castle back home.

Cheers

After drinking a Samuel Adams, nothing else even taste like beer. Also, it does not leave me feeling bad, if I drink one to many. They have several different kinds, and I like them all. Try it,your like it.

Wine Festival

#68

Post by Hannibal Lecter »

Good day, all.

(Please allow me to drop out of character for a second...)

I am STOKED!!!!!

(Ahem - we now resume our more controlled demeanor... )

The week-end of Father's Day marks the Annual Spring Wine Festival at a local winery. $10 will get you in the gate and all of the samples you can imbibe, plus food and live music. I have tried their products before and their Blackberry Wine and Port are already staples in my home, so I will be anxious to try their other offerings. There is also an Outback Steakhouse close by for the return trip home. I will be meeting friends from work there also to share in the food, wine and camaraderie.

To quote my father-in-law, I am blessed and highly favored. :D

Sorry for the late addition but this is one topic I really enjoy!! I prefer any beer that DOESN"T substitute rice for malted barley. Life is too short to drink bad cheap beer. Right now my favorites are

Fullers London Pride
and
Brooklyn Brewery Brown ale

Drink often and only on Tap!!!!
