"Warning Labels"
"Warning Labels"
This can be fun!
Seems everything has a "warning labels". Toys, cars, appliances, even plastic bags and 5 gallon buckets. Sometimes not just one but many!
So how come Spyderco does not have to put them on there knives?
To help them out and to protect the ignorant lets see how many lame a@@ labels we can come up with!
I'll start: "Warning" improper use can cause serious injury and or death!
Have fun,
ken

"To avoid risk of serious injury, REMOVE FROM POCKET BEFORE OPENING"
The danger with this is that some bureaucrat may see it and get ideas.

this is a sharpened piece of steel ! you can not use it as a improvised projectile in hunting or into the practice of knifetrowing. Do not try to cut materials harder then the steel used in the knife. Death or serious personal injury to yourself or others can occur when using this knife in a mather it was not intended for.

Some great replies here. A fond memory that comes to mind for me when I think of warning labels is a label on a frozen food item that read "Caution: Product will be hot after heating."
So, to aid Spyderco in their attempt to help consumers avoid injury and mayhem I'll add "Caution: Blade will be sharp after sharpening."

Mad Magazine
Some (er, many) years ago, an issue of Mad Magazine had a large picture of Alfred E Newman's face on the back cover. The idea was to cut out the face and wear it as a mask. The following advice/warning was added :
To see when mask is on, poke a sharp pencil through the eyes of the mask. To see when mask is off, don't try this when mask is on !
