I.V. nice watch :) but did you really went into combat wearing that watch?
What did you wear in the line of duty?
Does the IDF supllies it's troops with watches. I know that if the IDF uses it it the best from the best, so can you give us some update on that?
"I have followed with enthusiasm the course of your disgrace and public shaming. My own never bothered me except for the inconvenience of being incarcerated, but you may lack perspective."
What is the Pathfinder like to use? I have been interested in getting one for a while.
Ken
Just because we like cool stuff :) If you're shopping around for one, don't forget to have a look at Suunto as well. From what I know they are a bit more expensive(not that much really) but much more reliable, and they look sleek. If I had known that before I bought my own Pathfinder, I might just have purchased one of the Suunto watches instead.
Bulova Marine Star - (couldn't find pic) with 18K gold trim. Was a 25th wedding anniversary gift from my wife (we just hit 30 years earlier this month). Wear it for normal day to day - will occasionally wear a $5-10 cheapie if I'm going somewhere where I potentially could lose the Bulova.
Well, in priniciple this one, got it new in November. Since then it has spent most of its time at Seiko's Customer Service, who actually damaged it while trying to fix it. I just wrapped it up for its second trip to Coserv.
Didn't care much about watches till I got an awsome Casio from a good friend and forumite. He also sent me this knife (among others) to match, (many thanks Jur) :D

The mind commands the body and it obeys. The mind orders itself and meets resistance.
i wear this GIGANTIC snoop-dog-looking monstrosity by vernier. it's got the biggest face i've EVER seen on a wrist watch, lots of bling-looking gold stuff that i'm sure isn't gold, and this hideous shiny green alligator band! it's the best and worst watch i've ever seen... i hope it lasts forever!
@Outlaw: How old is that Casio? In fact I rememer similar watches from my childhood  Does this now qualify me as old or young
Rob,
This model has been around for YEARS
I bought my first one was something like eight years ago & still have it. It works great, but the band finally gave way so I purchased a new one about 2 years ago now.
As for young or old.... I don't wanta go there

Shalom
lol that's my new watch :D
the IDF doesn't supply watches, what i had in service was a simple $15 digital Casio, black & with nothing more than the basic functions & a 50m water resistance (or so they say, it was in the rain & kept eorking though).. these things are cheap & last just about forever
(to prevent glare we simply had a piece of rubbery cloth, black or green covering it)
Casio sure do know how to make watches, i buy only casio :p
