Rammstein is sweet ;)

However there's DJ Tiësto in my player now. Like always...

(To be precise: Flesh - Jan Johnston/Tiësto remix)

Neil Young's new Greatest Hits album. Gonna swap it up for Springsteen's The Rising in a minute or so.

At the moment......a compilation of Nursery Rhymes and Songs :( Nice!

Emily, my three year old little girl (soon) will have it no other way :(
Having said that when it finishes I might slip Queen "News of the World" in and watch her singing We Will Rock You and she loves We are the Champions! Her other favourites are ACDC, Motorhead, Kiss, Bob Seiger and others that I have had no influence in her listening to ;)

Just started The Final Option album by Die Krupps, later maybe something by Oomph!.
These bands were at the forefront of german industrial music in the nineties and their stuff from back then is much better than anything Rammstein ever did. Not that Rammstein is bad, but Oomph and Krupps have more raw power and less pathos. :)

I have two new albums by Edguy (german metal band) on the way, lucky eBay find, can't wait. They'll ship from Russia - reimport is way cheaper for both than even one album is here, go figure.

Funny story about Edguy: They started making metal music in school and when asked what he wanted to be after school, the band leader always said Rockstar! Back then his teachers were laughing...

Mahalo DAYWALKER!
AFAIK Die Krupps were one of the influences for Nitzer Ebb, while Oomph! were a role model for Rammstein. Nitzer Ebb is pure EBM (electronic body music) while both Oomph! and Die Krupps mix electronic/EBM and metal influences into their unique styles. (Although Oomph! has mellowed over time and is approaching mainstream nowadays) If you like Nitzer Ebb then both bands' stuff from the 1990s should be for you, too. :)
