Which do you use more?

#1

Post by garrett »

I know I have been more active in this forum since it was rebuilt with the new look. I am wondering, how many of you look at this forum more than you look at the BFC Spyderco forum? I know there are alot of us who post on both, but which do you prefer?

I know that for me, I actually enjoy this forum better than the BFC forum. Anyone else with me on this?

Garrett
I actually have all the Spydercos I want. Isn't that wierd? On second though, no I don't...

I prefer this Forum! Discounting a some minor blips, this forum is friendlier, more civil, and has fewer of what I would charaterize as "troll" posts. You know what I mean, the "Spyderco CS Sucks" and "My Maxam beats your Spyderco" types ;) .

That said I also spend a fair amount of time on BladeForums (especially the Spyderco Forum) and check in on KnifeForums at least once a day.

Most of the time I'm here rather than blade forums, I check knife forums dailly, for some strange reason I'm interested in talking about slipjoints in the warmer months, Spyderco knives in the colder months, yes weird I know  Cheers, Rob

I prefer to be in here than at the BF, it's more friendly but I still check BF for some important thread that are not in here (weird BTW):

for example, right now on BF, Bob Terzuola and Sal are requesting feedbacks and suggestions for a possible futur collaboration... :)

indeed same her, i visit them both equally but after all the heat against Sal (warranty) and Simona, i reached my limit of W&C for a while! I discovered the wonderfull world of "ignore" so i just put a bunch of ******** on ignore. I do find this forum more relaxing, although the much debated US presidential election sometimes spoiled it for us non "USA'ers". But now that it's all over i hope we can all enjoy our common things instead of that what devides us.
And that Samo guy is some wierd guy man! i always laugh when i see his avater "is that a rat btw?". Mahola or whatever u say :D

I look here more than BFC or any of the other knife forums.

I like this forum better. I just wish the MBC forum section would come back. I really enjoyed talking with Mr. Janich

I check both but I prefer this one as it has much better tone :D

I wish that Sal would post more here though.

I have allways like this one better but it seems that the folks from Spyderco will anwser questions faster at BF.
Seems like the heavy traffic kind of flip flops back and forth but sence the upgrade of this one BFs Spyderco forum has droped off some.

Most often here. I check BFC once a week or so to read stuff about other brands and I like to read the political discussion forum, though I don't post there often.

I prefer this one. More like "home" and friendlier...if that makes any sense! Plus I can go right up top and check out some of the products that are being discussed...

I enjoy this forum a lot . I also enjoy the Benchmade forum . Both are civil and informative . I visit Blade forums once in a while , just to get a wider view .

I come here, the BM forum and BF. I go spend more time at BF because the BM forum and this place tends to be a little dead.

But since BF is down, I've been spending more time here. (Still dead.) :)
