Busse Combat P&L Statement

#1

Post by MacLaren »

She just came in the mail this a.m. This is one that I've always wanted. Finally, I was able to buy this from a member on BF in the Busse Combat for sale section. It's as new, never used. Gotta say, this maybe the the most comfy Busse I've had. But, initial impressions are that this baby will do anything good. Pig stickin, deer skinnin, kindlin makin, cut a hole & walk out the other side.
The LHK MiniGun I had was definitely sharper/meaner but, this P&L Statement is more comfy with a better grip purchase and has more *** on it. & that extra *** is huge (πŸ˜ƒ) no worries with batonning if you had to. At any rate, I just wanted to share this with ya all.

That's badass. I got a Busse Anorexic Fusion Battle Mistress recently, and the handle on that was super comfy, but I think your handle looks like it might be even more comfortable!

Sure thing. Someone asked me to post one up once before, and I completely forgot to do it. It might've even been you.

Yessir! 😎
I would agree. It's really very neat.
There's one other though, that I truly wish I would've held on to. Jim Ankerson had one too.
And for the life of me I cannot remember the name. But, it was probably as comfy as this P&L Statement.

Busse would have sold more of those if they used your pictures.

I hear ya, Dan. A lot of work. But, the scales are nice. Being this rougher style Micarta than the LHK MiniGun with its polished Micarta, I definitely get a better purchase on the Busse Scales

Thank you, sir. πŸ™
Ya know, I think that could go for more companies as well. It's strange, they make a beautiful blade and just put up a couple hard to see pics.....I dunno man....
Busse makes some of the most beautiful blades I've ever seen. (I haven't saw a whole lot of course)
Also, I really wish they would offer these in their Industrial Finish (think New Spyderco- for people that dont know) & their Hand Applied Satin Finish which is super nice.
Actually, release one part Industrial Finish part hand applied Satin Finish- that would be wild!

Good looking knife!

Are they still using A8(mod) Infi ? I really like that steel. In fact I have a piece of it put away I'm going to have made into a knife with someday.

Yeah man, it's INFI. They actually discontinued SR101. I was a little shocked when that happened.
But, is INFI modified A8? I've heard that it is and it isn't.

Yeah SR101 is 52100 and I really wasn't surprised they changed.

I think they are using more CPM 3V and ELMAX now since the change over.
