Do you eat these ?
We’ve never planted them before. It’s part of our “undergarten” underneath the tomatoes

You can eat them and they are quite good in salads, they have a radish flavor. I have grown and eaten them lots of times.

Both are edible. I think mostly the flowers are used for garnish though, similar to Pansies.

Great photos, guys.
I think lantanas are so beautiful but unfortunately I can’t stand the smell. Same with vitex. Anyone else like the looks of their plants but don’t like the smell?

This thread needs some desert plants! 🌵

The last photo is not my plant, it's some wild plant next to a parking lot. Has a really cool growth pattern though, I don't know what kind of plant it is.

I just went outside to smell the lantana but all I could detect was that da.. tom cat that sprays everything…😳 I do however detest the scent of a Bradford pear tree and they are beautiful

Two questions: 1) is that the prickly pear fruit that you make jam with? and 2) what is the mimosa looking plant with the orange flowers?
