I'm looking for true macro lens for my camera, I know what I want just need to find a clean example. For now here are close ups of some rock/mineral samples I've been working on getting better at.

My first refraction photo attempts, I'm pretty happy with them considering what I had to work with. They kind of remind me of a lonely street light somewhere lol.

Went out fishing for a few hours yesterday then spent some time just wandering around with the macro lens and got some interesting shots.

Very cool! I don't know much about minerals myself but I do enjoy seeing a lot of them, so many interesting colors and structures.

This one flew in the house. Tried to catch it with this cup. Couldn't get it. Left the house and when I got back it put itself in the cup. Let it go outside after.
