We have hot air balloons and micro planes fly over in the Summer . There is strip used for the planes besides a parachuting club about five miles away . This balloon sets up a lot of times just North of town for take offs . There is another strip South of our town at another small town about 6-7 miles away . Sometimes they fly over in formation . One guy has a miniature three wing painted like the Red Baron . Fun to see . Dan

Inspiration Point Park by my office. The view west. I-70 and I-76(on right) converge in front there. The 2 mesa's, South (left) and North Table Mesa (right) are visible in front of the foothills. Golden is behind them. The Spyderco factory and shop is just beyond North Table Mesa there.

Sadly he is not present . Gernot is frolicking with Gnomes and Fairies in the Austrian Alps throwing knives and crawling in caves , and occasionally having a beer at exotic cabins . The Forum would be incomplete within him . Dan

he and i have butted heads a couple of times on the forum, but not over anything serious. i think it would be cool to meet him in person and hang out in the mountains just talking knives or sitting in silence. i think we'd get along alright in person if i could manage to keep up with him.
