My Kizlyar Phoenix Combat 1 LE showed up this am! I like it just a hair better than the Wild Pig Hunter. The Phoenix is a little thinner with very nice Linen Micarta Scales and a Skull Crusher ❤️
Has Russian U8 steel.

Very nice! Did you put your own edge on that one yet? The Zaan has one of the best grinds of the bunch IMO.

Not yet, but I can't wait to finally get around to it! Still a pretty great knife though. Annoyed of that scratch I put on it today when it rubbed against one of those buttons on my pocket.

Pocket carrying a Gossman UNK this evening, just for the fun of it. One of my favorite EDC sized fixed blades. This one is in .130" thick AEB-L (He marks this steel with AEB for whatever reason).

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

That's how I feel this year, more than any year before...I've got a few nice shots, but their either not my Spyderco knives or their modified with different scales or blade swaps, etc. Guess we can all make our own Other's calendar haha!
