Thanks for the link.
On the website I was not able to find it.

I have been trying to use the RK blades supposedly made for Henson and sold along with the razors. To sum up, while I love Henson razors, I tried these jokes of blades in my AL13 mild and medium. They scratched their dull way down my face and neck like a cat losing its grip. It was horrible. Today, I put a Feather in my medium and was back to a comfortable, glorious shave.

Got my AL13 aggressive.
Loaded with a feather and used once. Needs no pressure. The low weight helps, you need to be more careful.
I need more time with it.

The AL13 medium is still my favorite.

Who else has an aggressive Henson?
What is your experience?

Can you take a picture? Apparently, Henson is changing the design a bit. Is yours one of those?

Okay, so you don't have the new design. They are only just coming out. The head is more rounded and there are no side supports. Personally. I like the Star Trek shuttle craft look.

No side support: do you mean the blade is visible on the sides?

On the front looking at the blade, you can see on both sides where there are supports. These have been removed, somehow.

This purports to show the new head (L) beside the old head (R).

The design team weighed both customer feedback and test results, to introduce several enhancements to both the AL13 and Ti22 razors.

Increased grip
The overall diameter of the handle has been increased by 0.010”. Also, the textured portions of the handle have been made more pronounced. Both of these changes improve overall grip and handling of the razor.

Reshaped channels
The lather channels in the baseplate have been reshaped and the centre webs of the lather slots have removed, resulting in improved hair and lather evacuation.

Softened edges and added bevels
The edges of the baseplate and top cap have been softened in an effort to reduce any unwanted sharpness from the outer edges and corners of the razor head. Also, a large bevel has been added to the outer corners of the razor head. These changes improve comfort, control, and precision during shaving, especially when maneuvering around obstacles, such as next to the nose and mouth.

Removed end posts
The small posts at the ends of the blade gap have been removed from the baseplate. One resulting benefit of this is that the very ends of the razor blades edge are able to perform better. Also, since the shape of the lather channel is now completely through the razor head, rinsing of the razor is improved.

Added razor head grip
Indents have been added at the ends of the razor head to assist with gripping the head for assembly and disassembly for blade changes, cleaning, etc.

Chip groove
A small notch has been added to the top of the top cap threaded post to help keep the threads clean and free of debris.

I hope there is no blade chatter and that the clamping is still good enough to prevent it. I like the looks of the new design, but I am going to miss the Star Trek shuttle craft look.

Today, I foolishly tried to get a 5th shave from a Feather blade in my ++Ti22 Henson. Well, I got a shave, but it was not as good of an experience as the other four shaves. I won't be doing this, again, if I can help it. It was not close enough and I still have some rough spots and it was painful to try and take those down. Never again!

If you look at the corners there cannot be any support as there is no razor blade.

I think the v2 is fine.
Will you order one?

Of course! I am going to wait on my local B&M to get them in because I try to support him. I will also buy the +++ from him when they come in.

He will get a AL13 +++ in the new Design?
I thought ist a limited run...

I tried to shave with the +++ just some contures roughly in the evening. No prepration.
I thought I'd rip of my skin.
The next day after preparation no issue, very smooth.

I would like to try the v2 but I ordered too many in the last months. I will try v3 or v4.

I don't know if he is getting the new +++ in. He is getting in whatever they have made. He will get in some of the new + and ++, but he said he just filled an order and got a bunch of the previous design in and Henson said nothing about a new design when he bought them. Colors are currently limited on the new design. In the old, there is the emerald green they call Azure, and purple and coral pink and red and other colors available over here.

So, over here, we get Gillette Super Nacet blades. They are made in China for the Singapore and Malaysian markets, and probably other Southeast Asian countries. The are platinum coated and these are not cheaply made razors, let me tell you! The standard Gillette Nacet blades are stainless and made in Russia and sold in many countries, like the USA. I really like the Super Nacet blades and they vie with Feather for top honors, though Feather slightly edges them out, but not by much. These blades are SHARP!

So, using my ++ Henson Ti22 I shaved three days with the Gillette Chinese made Super Nacet blades. They have very high sharpness and I got good, smooth, close shaves in two passes with little to no touch up each time.

Today, I started three days with the Gillette Nacet, which are made in Russia, I think. The shave was an incredibly comfortable two passes and it was very good. I did have to touch up a bit more than with the Super Nacet, but not anything extreme. I am impressed with the smooth comfortableness of this razor. This is one of the smoothest blades I've used. I'll see what my impressions are after two more shaves.

Just from the design I like it.
The v1 looks a bit more unique and classy.

What is your opinion?

I read the v2 has less suction (drag). I like that on the v1.
I wish that the handle had more grip to it.

Overall it's some evolution but I will use my v1 more and wait for v3/v4...
I already have 4 Hensons now in rotation.
