I like the full size shovel instead of an adjustable. I need to see if compatible with my bed cover . Dan

this lives in every car I've owned, since around 1990, no rack required :grin-big eyes not up to the same level of work, but in a pinch...

I’m with you there, I’m 6’2” and it ain’t happening.

Also, the money these things bring nowadays is ridiculous, so there’s another reason it ain’t happening!

Nice! The extended cabs I can almost drive, but I’d need a seat mount adapter to scoot the seats back into the extended space 🤣

I'm pretty sure that there are modern repros available, but I have no idea if the quality is as good as the originals.
I snagged mine (own two for certain and I think there's a third hidden away somewhere) back when lots of W German surplus was hitting the Army-Navy stores, then they were super cheap, now scarcity has elevated the prices, but it's a really well built tool, so worth the price, at least up to a point...

My buddy at work has a pretty nice Tundra, but he's actually considering selling it because of gas prices and his 45 minute drive each way to and from work...as well as his 11mpg!

Image
Well, my buddy did it. Got rid of the zombie apocalypse Tundra, but still ended up with a pretty nice Tacoma. Of course he's going to hear about it from everyone at work, since his wife who also works with us, has a more badass Jeep than his truck now haha!

Off-road kinda day! The week demanded it. My daughter is my side kick for these adventures. We are lucky enough that we are just south of the Appalachian Mountains with tons of forest roads and waterfalls.

Some of the world's best fish tacos, because every time I look at this thread, it's still about Toyotas.
