College Football 2021

Anyone following College Football? Alabama is still dominant. The defense is not as good as past years, though. I wonder if they can maintain the winning streak through the season.

Yup, I still watch it when I can.
I've really got my eye on Arkansas. The Razorback's might just have something this year. Reason I say that is because of their defense. Imo, the only way you can really contend for a National Title is with a sttong defense. I don't care how prolific your offense is, if you dont have a good defense your gonna get taken down eventually. And, I think defense in particular has been the real reason Alabama has always shined so much.
If your lucky enough to have a great defense, you'll always be in the game. Case in point, the Clemson Tigers. They have an atrocious QB!! Nonetheless they still held Georgia to 10 points! It took 2 Overtimes Yesterday for NC State to beat them and they only scored 27 points. Yeah, I'm a defense guy. Always have been lol.
Another team I have my eye on is Oregon. They went to the Horseshoe and won.
But, there's still so much season to go. I'm not totally sold on Bama just yet. But, if I had to put money on who would win the title, it would be Alabama.

Another team that might be for real is Michigan State. The Spartans are 4-0

I prefer watching NFL football. It's a much more competitive product, in my opinion, making it more enjoyable to watch.

W/out a doubt, Nick.
There's just an incredible difference between college and pro. But, I do love a good college game when teams are evenly matched and especially so when you get those teams that are just really good.

Lol, they should've lost that game last night, bro.
WVU gave it away imo. But, a win is a win is a win.
Whether it's given or earned 😉
All that being said, OU home games are one of my favorites to watch on t.v. I especially like that they still have natural grass as their turf. Lol, I'm weird about that. I hate artificial turf.

Lol. Have you seen the Boise State Stadium? It's an abomination against nature.

Funny you bring that up, I actually love that blue turf!
I know it's artificial but, man it's always been blue as long as I can remember.....lol, it's became a landmark so to speak in college football

I don't know if OU should have lost. It was a close game that they eeked out at the end. A walk off field goal for the win is exciting. At least for the winners. I chalk this one up to depth by Oklahoma. West Virginia has a killer defense. They just didn't have enough in the tank at the end.

A win is a win. Especially important in college football when you are undefeated.

Well, Saturday is upon us. Will #1 AL take #12 Ol Miss? Will #2 GA take AR? These will be interesting games. AL is finally playing a team that could give them a hard time, and so is GA.

I was surprised that neither Ol Miss nor Arkansas showed up to play, today. Auburn had a nail biter, but won. Tennessee won and probably don't know what to think about it.

I can't believe Oregon went down and to that...what's that team again? Just kidding, but it was a surprise.

The dream is still alive for those that are undefeated. After next week's Oklahoma/Texas game, things should become more in focus for those with legit championship aspirations.

Alabama appears to be the best team out there. Still quite a few undefeated teams with interesting stories. Usually week six or seven is the time to focus on that aspect. Boomer Sooner, Tuck Fexas.

Man, it's gonna be crazy when OU & Texas join the SEC!

I feel like the true national championship game is likely to occur in early December in Atlanta.

Yeah, from what I've seen thus far. Alabama is the best team in the Country. I think they're even 2 touchdowns better than Georgia to be honest.
My goodness, they're just absolutely stacked at every position. I really think they'll repeat as National Champions.
I was looking at their guards yesterday evening and they're just brutes, too many future N.F.L. players man.
