N.F.L. 2021-2022 Season
Re: N.F.L. 2021-2022 Season
Yes it does even if it's "America's Team" (NOT).
Only joking Spydergirl! (kind of). My girl and I likes to refer to the Cowboys as Americas Team because she knows it bothers me lol
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!

I think the Bears will be pretty good this year Sharp Guy. I hope y'all win the NFC North or at least make the playoffs. Only thing worse than not winning a Superbowl since '95 is not winning one since '85...

Haha! I'm also a Cubs fan. So I'm used to rooting for losing teamsSpydergirl88 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 8:05 pmI think the Bears will be pretty good this year Sharp Guy. I stand by what I said about the Cowboys NOT being America's Team

I don't care about that nickname honestly. It's before my time. Love them or hate them, America does tune in to watch them win or lose. But an enemy (Bears) of my enemy (packers) is my friend

For the record, I don't dislike the Cowboys. I'm necessarily a fan either but I am living in Cowboys territory with a woman who is a fan (and often refers to them as "America's Team" and truly believes they are lol). Most of the guys who work for me are Cowboys fans too. So I follow along and watch the games when convenient. I love football so I'll watch just about any game even if it's teams I'm not necessarily interested inSpydergirl88 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 8:26 pmI don't care about that nickname honestly. My feelings for the Packers are completely different than my feelings for the Cowboys. I HATE the Packers!

Re: N.F.L. 2021-2022 Season
Super sad day.
My all time favorite football coach Bobby Bowden has passed away at 91 yrs old.
Man, FSU was my team when they had Bobby. When FSU forced him out, that was it for me.
FSU was a powerhouse under Bowden. Those were some great days watchin Deon Sanders, Marvin "Shade Tree" Jones , just to name a couple. I always loved watching them play the Miami Hurricanes too!
Man, what a crew they had too!! That's when the state of Florida was the mecca for recruiting considering Steve Spurrier's Gators up in Gainesville.
No sir, they'll never be another Bobby Bowden.
Bobby Bowden........rest in peace Coach.

Tom has had 3 different hall of fame worthy eras of his career. I bet Calvin would trade his gold jacket for just 1 of Tom's rings. Sad when the greats don't get a ring.

I genuinely believe his greatness in the NFL will never be matched!!!
That Tom Brady guy is pretty good too though. LOL
I support giving Tom Brady three gold jackets and renaming the Pro Football Hall of Fame to the "Tom Brady Commemorative Pro Football Hall of Fame!"Spydergirl88 wrote: Tom has had 3 different hall of fame worthy eras of his career. I agree about Calvin Johnson too, shame he never got a ring. Same can be said for Randy Moss too, one of the greatest receivers ever and doesn't have a ring.
