Alright guys your peer pressure worked. I couldn't find a Sebenza with inlays I liked that didn't cost an arm and a leg. So I went with the plain jane small 31 drop point. I chose the 31 because of the offset clip. I can't wait to get the knife so I can cut off that silly lanyard. Putting paracord on a $375 knife seems weird to me. Like a bumpersticker on a sportscar. 🤷‍♀️
Nice choice! PJ Sm 31 was my first as well.. it was not my last haha. Hah, I'm with you on the lanyard.. Chris Reeve himself couldn't convince me that I need a lanyard on a knife that offers a full grip! No need to cut them though, the whole lanyard pin pops right out when you disassemble the knife.. pretty clever how they do it, I think.. easy to remove, but you don't need to destroy the lanyard in case you ever want to sell your knife, or change your mind, or whatever.. I mean, unless it's out of some deep-seated lanyard hate that we're not aware of, then by all means, cut away! I won't judge. :D

..well, that escalated quickly..

Reading this thread after selling off some guitar pedals was a bad idea...
Just do it ;)
Looks like more and more 31's are starting to be released at dealers the past week or so. I'm trying not to look...though I obviously have been :p
The lack of PJ Large 31s is helping me hold out. I like the inlayed versions but the cost is a bit steep. Ordering direct without the blue accents is tempting though.

Ok so the Raindrop Damascus is **** near impossible to photograph, but wow is it absolutely stunning. This is the tightest pattern I’ve ever seen on any of CRKs raindrop.

I need to take a drive out to House of Blades and handle one again first. Last time I was there awhile ago I wasn't impressed enough to order one. Maybe that's changed?

I still want that little Shiro too but other hobbies have been pulling at my funds. Need to liquidate some knives to fund something special but haven't had the time or desire to do it.

Honestly, I've been carrying my Paysan on the weekends and I'm pretty content with that. It's still making me smile :)

Haha sorry :)

I had a Small 21 at the beginning of me getting into CRK, and I loved it, but always preferred the Large Sebenza, but this little Mnandi is exactly what I wanted, it is soooo much nicer then a fancied up Small Sebenza, and slightly smaller. A locking work of art, blows all the traditionals I ever had out of the water. I can say I am very happy and content with deciding to get rid of the rest of my GECs to grab this guy! (I still have my Case Bose though, because it’s just freaking badass)

Thanks Julia, it’s my favorite too. I had a Small 21 in beech too, wish I kept it.
