I'd rather see the car ;)

3rd owner, hasn't been rained on since the early eighties! Matching number, complete, and unrestored. Been offered some pretty crazy money for it.

I actually work at a large dealership collision center, with a phenomenal painter! Both he and the B/S manager both told me to NEVER restore this car! It's at it's highest value right now as it sits, and that the big dollar true collectors want cars like this that hasn't been touched!

That's awesome! In that condition, unrestored. Worth a pretty penny indeed.

My dad used to have a 1970 Plymouth GTX with a 440. "Plum Crazy" purple with a white interior...but he sold it in 1980 when my parents were having their first house built and planning on this little bundle of joy to enter this world. Makes me feel guilty he had to sell it!

Some extra money is always nice, but having something that rare being unrestored and in that condition after all these years...I'd have to be in a dire situation to sell that baby

Used to have an older version of those Snap-On pliers. They were SO helpful for remove small screws that someone stripped out the heads on. Usually Philips heads like those used on Carburetors. Got stolen by a POS neighbor.

Nice spread of lights!

I got the i1R 2 EOS for free during one of Olight's sales last year. Fantastic little light! Turbo mode is super bright for being so small. My primary light is the Perun Mini, but the i1R 2 is on my keychain as backup.

i wanted a 4max since i first saw them, but the price is ridiculous. since the scout came out, i almost pulled the trigger so many times. i'm glad i waited. also, dlt shipping is no joke. i ordered this thursday afternoon and it's already in my pocket two days later.

Love my 4Max Scout and your right, DLT has the fastest shipping out there. I wish I would have waited for this 4Max Scout, mine is the Black handle/satin blade. Boring but still a heck of a great knife.

i love stonewashed blades, so i actually struggled a bit with the decision to grab this one. if it had been more expensive, i would've been more than happy with the standard model. you could always get this one too. someone on youtube already swapped pieces to get an all black version. well, minus the liners, which are uncoated.

i have a few other xl cold steel knives and they are great, but i don't carry them because it's hard to justify a 5.5" blade. i figured i could get away with carrying this behemoth though. the knife is much bigger as a whole, but the blade isn't much longer than my caribbean. it's kind of like an xl shaman but much cheaper and better suited for outdoor hard use.

And now I see why! I already liked the Guardian 3 platform/ergos, but stick a super slicey wharnie blade on one and you've got a mini powerhouse!

How are you finding the Vanadis 4E compared to spyderco 4v?
