Pretty much every kind, although I do need to get a muzzle loader. I'm partial to sixguns, especially SAs, and in long guns bolt actions & leverguns. RKBA!

I have a small collection of Ruger handguns. I really like the Blackhawk revolvers and I have managed to acquire 5 so far.
Right now, this is my what I have in my collection:
.22 Caliber-made in '68
.357 Caliber-made in '67 with original box.
.30 Cal Carbine-made in '68. Someone jeweled the trigger and hammer and that kinda takes away from the collectability but with a 8' barrel, I can hit a quarter at 50'.
.44 magmum, was made in '67.
I'm trying to find a 41 caliber thats in good shape for a reasonable price...they seem to be very rare.
hey Al, Please look me up.

Wow! Thats a beauty. I'm trying not to drool all over the kbd as I type this. Are you framiliar with a book called Ruger: the man and his guns? It's a great bio of Bill Ruger with many great photos. I think it's out of print now but I'm sure you can find it at Amazon.com for a pittence. It's well worth the little bit of time it will take to find.
Thanks for the Welcome

Edison,

Welcome. My son has a pair of Ruger 41 Mags, a Blackhawk and a Redhawk. Sorry I don't think he'd part with them. Never a really popular chambering so I imagine they are pretty scarce. Good luck in your search.

The Glock 22 is indeed a 40 S&W. I do have to explain it often; when people ask what model Glock I use as a duty weapon, and I answer "Glock 22," often their reply is "I didn't know Glock made a 22," thinking 22LR cartridge. The 22,23,24,27, and 35 are 40 S&W. The 17,18,19,26, and 34 are 9mm. KBR, I find it interesting that you have a Winchester 1897 in 16 gauge. We have one, too. We have not fired it yet.

None (firearms are rather illegal here). I'm not sure I'd get myself one, even if I could. "Guns for show, knives for a pro" (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels)

Here in Brazil the largest caliber I can use is .380 for pistols and .38 for revolvers.
As a collector, shooter and hunter, I have lot's of guns...
For everyday carry, I use a Beretta 84F (.380) and sometimes a .38 SPL Mod.1 Derringer.

On duty it is: a Delica combo edge, a MOD CQD MK2 PE and a Glock 17 9mm, an expandable monadnock 16" Detective and a can of OC.
Off duty it is a Glock 26 9mm, and usually a Spyderco Police combo edge or a Millitary serrated. Often it is als a HALO3.

.... IMHO ....

Mine is a

VSK-9YA rifle mounted with a PKS -07

So easy to pack and ambush Santa !!
I just love it.

Oh yeah, in France these toyes are legal only for Christmas time.
We even say "Toyz are Rus" at this period of the year!
My main concern was sufficent penetration effect. You know, Kevlar can be tricky.

There is nothing more dangerous than a wounded raindeer. So stay safe and only shoot when you see the white of their tails.

Happy Halloween

Being in the military, I've had my share of shooting practice over the years. Starting out with simple 9mm Uzi's and FN pistols, I now am fed up with all the 9mm blasting that make me an unsecure and unstable shootist. Im am not build very st rong and this is a disadvantage when shooting larger calibers free handed. Guns like the Seecamp .32 ACP and the S&W Airlite Ti .38 Special are much more suited to my shooting style and are gems in their own right. I love the smaller guns. When equipped with the correct and more aggressive amunition, close distance stopping power is no issue here. Stay safe !

Clipits work!

Picked up a Romanian AK and a Keltec .380 today. I didn't have a rifle that shot the cheap 7.62x39 so I solved that problem. I traded a Baretta 92F in on these two. The Baretta was an OK pistol but just too big for CCW carry so it's usefullness was limited. I have other pistols that were better suited for CCW. The little Keltec is a good pocket gun for those days when it is too hot to carry anything of much size. It fits in your pocket and is so light you forget it is there.

Hope to go to the range on Friday to try out both new members of the family.
