Malaysian of Chinese descent. My Grandpa migrated from Southern China in the early 30's to settle here in Malaysia. Well, since I'm of Chinese ancestory, I belong to the Hakka dialect which is a nomadic bunch of people specialising black-smithing hence armory. Hakkas are primarily in-land people who wander around other Southern provinces in China. I can be confused for a polynesian, Korean, Japanese or even Mongolian in many of my forays to the Americas, Africa, Europe and Central Asia. In Malaysia, the people here speak and write at least three languages. Malay, English and Chinese... <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

100% Spanish, and deeper into that, 75% Galician (Celtic land right on the NE corner of Spain)25% Valladolid (Central Spain, from my paternal grandfather). My paternal granfather line goes back to the Conquistadores, and as a matter of fact, some of my ancestrors stayed back, and there are Barahonas in Colombia, Chile and the Dominican Republic. I too moved to this side of the Atlantic and I am now living in NJ...

We Javas are all descended from a hearty <i>robusta</i> stock first cultivated in the mountains of Ethiopia. My ancestors came to the New World in 1723, sailing with Gabriel de Clieu and settled in Martinique. The Java you know here today is a unique blend of dark <i>arabicas</i> from the mountains of Columbia, the Santos Estates of Brazil, and an exquisite Polynesian Kona peaberry. ….Huh? Ohhhhh you wanted to speak to the other Java. Keep away! The sow is mine! Yes, I know Java. He is in here too. There never was an Aaron, counselor. We are many in here. Why you do this to me Dimi?
(The phrase "The Power of Christ Compels You!" is overheard repeatedly with growing strength in the background.)

Holy moly! Man it’s hard just to get away from the crowd in there to visit the keyboard once in a while. Hey.....Why’s it so cold in here and where’d that dead priest come from?

Now where were we? The old human Java is a Heinz 57 purebred mutt mix of Swedish, English, and Cree Indian on me pappy’s side and German (Bavarian) and Italian (Roma) from me darlin’ mater’s forebears. Mrs. Java is French, Irish, and German and our javalings were born in Japan. What a mix. Fruitcakes anyone?

<b>Rico</b>,

I wasn't born in Texas but I got here as fast as I could. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

<b>Jurphaas,</b>

Did you do time in Tucson with the 1620 TFG or were you one of my EW counterparts there?

I am born in Romania, a small country near Russia, therefore I had the opportunity to know the benefits of the Russian influence. My parents, grandparents and grand-grandparents are also Romanian. My wife, her parents, grandparents and grand grandparents are also Romanian.
With a little luck, my children will be no more. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

First and foremost, I'm American. I was born in this country and live by it's ideals.

Second, I am of Chinese heritage.

I am the 1st american-born generation of my family and proud of it!

And just on a side note. My nick/handle "Silver Dragon" is derived from the fact that I am born on August of 1976 (Chinese Year of the Dragon) and that I like the color silver. I also possess a little silver dragon ring that I wear and may one day post a pic of it if I ever bother to take a picture of it.

I am an American, born in St. Thomas, USVI. My dad was an Italian who emigrated from Italy to the Danish West Indies and became an American citizen upon the transfer of those islands to the US in 1917. My mom was a second generation American of Danish heritage.
