Curiosity/OT: What nationality are you?

Post by vampyrewolf »

ok, I'm bored and got thinking. On the forums(and electronic community as a whole) we're all faceless and the mugshot threads don't get anywhere. Only a few, like Samo, post anything about nationality.

Other than the basic "I'm an American", "I'm Canadian" type replies... What are you?

The largest chunk of my geneolegy is Irish. Got the build and look from it, and the accent is usually hidden to avoid looks. I was born and raised in Canada, though my irish grandmother makes no efforts to hide her roots, which is where I picked up some of the accent.

have scottish, german and english roots, though all recessive to the irish... she was the only pureblood of the 4 grandparents, others were all mixed(roots and canadian) parents.

I'm Canadian - after 9 generations in this country we've pretty much lost any family ties to "the Olde Country"

We can, however, trace the family roots back to England and Ireland - long ago and far away!

VW/Patrick :

A bastard. Most American's have multi-ethinic backgrounds, which have melded to form a "bastard" off-spring. Don't take offense ; read "The bastard" by John Jakes from your school library, and you'll read what I'm talkin' about!

Firstly, I'm American. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Secondly, like Rico, I'm Texan. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Third, I'm of Mexican descent(not from south of the border though.<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>)

Like Allen said about being a bastard....guess you can call me one too. LOL

I'm a Nebraskan.

Mother was Irish.
Father was German.

Father privately told me that I was actually half Irish, and half human.

I'm Dutch. Born and raised in the Netherlands from real Dutch parents. I have an identical twin brother and 1 older sister. You probably all know that I'm with the Royal Netherlands Air Force and that I did 2 tours of duty in the US. first at Sheppard AFB, TX and the second one with the Air National Guard at Tucson AB. in AZ. After my return home in 2000 i was transferred into the medical service and I now work with a medical staff at the Naval station in Amsterdam.

Clipits work!
