Hello all, I just received as a gift from my friend Allen Treat a <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Herbst CE.

I was wondering what you all thought of that knife?

Thanks,

Edison

Normal people believe if it ain't broke don't fix it.....Engineers believe if it ain't broke it doesn't have enough features yet Check out my site: www.opticle.com

Hi Edison! I also am looking for some feedback on this model. I am considering purchasing one and would like to hear from others who own/use the Herbst. Looks like a great knife! Thanks all!

I bought one but it simply didn't press my buttons so it now lives with someone who does like it. It is a great knife but it just didn't work for me.

In my opinion, a knife this small needs a choil. At the very least a 50/50 choil like the Calypso Jr or the Dragonfly has. The Herbst only has that serrated portion where the choil should be.
