WOW!!! Just Got A Lil Temperance

Postby cmassicotte » Sun Nov 16, 2003 1:00 am

Well, ok, I have had it about two weeks...

Leaf blade PE - This is just a quality piece of working art. I have been pretty much satisfied with all my spydies up to now.. but now? well now I am not satisfied at all....

I want another one exactly the same - except with a 4-1/2 blade. Or how about....

With Ti handles and integral compression lock?

But hey, this is one really excellent knife as work tool just as it it. And yes I do wish it came in two sizes... big and bigger... <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Chuck

I have to agree with you. The Lil' Temp is a great design, if not widely appreciated. It seems to be overshadowed by the Gunting when it comes to MBC. However the Lil' Temp makes a great heavy-duty EDC.

As Jeff mentions, the only thing which keeps me from carrying it regularly is the thickness of the handle. The G-10 Native is still a more comfortable carry.

A 4 1/2 inch bladed Lil' Temperance = Big Temperance - I guess. It would be an impressive knife!!!

Congratulations on your new fine knife. Indeed this is one sturdy little knife.

cmassicote/ Chuck :

I tend towards the folding Lil' Temperance over the fixed blade ( at least you can carry it in about all 50 jurisdictions ) and that ergonomic handle means no one's gonna knock it outta your hand too quickly!

Now, if I can justify the price one of these months, I'll get one. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I've had a Lil' Temperance for a couple of years now and I still love it.

I bounce back and forth between the Millie and my Lil' Temperance Leaf. I like the blade shape so much, I ended up buying the Lum Chinese Folder (which is longer than the Temperance).

I live in Pennsylvania, but I work in New Jersey. When I'm going to be in the Garden state, I carry the Lil' Temperance as it conforms to that state's possession laws (3&quot<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>.

One way or the other, you pay for your tools!
