Early Mariner Salt question.

I showed 2 of these to Sal and Eric at Blade 6 or 7 yrs ago.
And they were surprised and said it was an early one, scales and clip were also made of H1.
Not just the blade, Wanted to follow up, years later for a memory check on it. :winking-tongue Thanks!

Note, no matter how I attach the photos, they are upside down? :thinking

All I can tell you is the first reply I saw from Sal to the question of "what is the handle made of?" was "There are a lot of rust-proof alloys that don't make good blades". But you were there and I wasn't.
