Blade swap

I’m thinking of swapping the blades on these two models. The micarta doesn’t rip up the pants like the G10 and I’d prefer the stainless for everyday stuff. The blades should be interchangeable right?

As far as I know they appear to be the same. I will say, Cruwear has to be the most stainless of the non-stainless class. As long as it is not exposed to prolonged salty water or sweat should be good to go. Even a little exposure if not left on hasn't appeared to stain in my use.

Or consider custom scales offered for your G10 to your own taste . Many out there . MG2

Maybe I’ll keep them as is. They were designed that way. I’ll try them out before making a decision. Funny how the full liners on the Crucarta make a nice full clunk when closing and the G10 a hollower tink.

I’ve done two blade swaps on pm2’s and had no issues. I wanted certain scales with different blade steel, I sold the donor knives.

“Donor knives” that’s great term. Where did you sell them? eBay?

Yes, put them on auction. Made the knives I kept very reasonable.
