Last Request: CF/S90V Caribbean
Sal,
Will there ever be a CF/S90V Caribbean? It seems like the sales of the Caribbean have been good enough to warrant one. It’s hard to imagine how beautiful CF scales would be with that milled pattern, peel-ply or not I don’t care. Side note; has there ever been Peel-ply CF out of Taichung?
I feel the only reason someone doesn’t own this knife already is the polarizing scales, and that’s a shame because this knife is one of the most comfortable knives I’ve ever used. Doing the CF/S90V version might drum up some more enthusiasm for this incredible design.
Somedumbguy was the only other advocate on here for this version of the Caribbean, and I haven’t heard from him in awhile.
That’s it, I’ve said my peace, and I won’t bring it up again.

Is there any after market scales?
The texture on the handles make for awesome purchase when deploying. The sheep’s foot Caribbean is quite something. It’s almost boring in a good way how great and practical it is. I love mine. I could do some slight modding to the handle for my preference but otherwise it is an almost perfect knife for its intended use and for EDC.

I would prefer contoured scales like the shaman over new materials.

Re: Last Request: CF/S90V Caribbean
The PPT Perrin is one of, if not, the only Taiwan made knife to get the CF/S90V sprint run treatment.
The Proficient and Drunken are both CF/S90V as well but they were/are regular production models.
I can’t imagine the Caribbean getting this sprint run treatment. I would guess there are a number of reasons working against it being made but one big reason would be that it removes it from the Salt series. I know the Siren got this sprint but that was more so because it was a Golden made model. It seems like an exception and not the norm to me.

I'd be all over it. Not my favorite class of steel these days but I would even be tempted just to get the scales themselves.
Honestly though I'd support just about any Caribbean variant.

No, I’ve never seen aftermarket scales for the Caribbean, Cuscadi said they could try, but I would have to send them my knife and I haven’t made that leap yet.
