Manix 2

#1

Post by K1W1_C&G »

I am considering the purchase of a Manix 2.
Does the blade of the lightweight version have the same pivot and lock dimensions as the G10 version?
Can you transfer the blade from one handle type to the other?

welcome!

the manix is a great knife. i haven't tried transferring blades yet, but several people have and it seems to yield mixed results. it used to be much more difficult to try because of the pins in the lw models, but now that the lw has screws, it should be relatively easy to attempt. if the magnacut m2lw is ever released, i know i will be trying to transfer a blade.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.
