One good thing about pinned construction. It tamps down the urge to spend more money and change out the cage. (Just trying to look on the bright side)

I have many slipjoints in 1095 that cannot be disassembled. They don't need it. I've used a GB1 in M4 for years and it's doing just fine without ever having been disassembled. Rivets vs screws is totally irrelevant to me. I don't have a Manix in M4 yet so I plan on picking up this one.

Pinned is a non-issue for me too. I rarely take any of my knives apart. I recently gave a knife with tool steel a soapy bath in the kitchen sink. I rinsed it out with hot water and then blew it out with my compressor. It's fine

Pinned construction isn't a blocker for me. I'd prefer screws, but only because I enjoy swapping handles/scales. Not really a big deal. I'm a huge fan of the Manix 2 LW over the Manix 2 w/G10. I'm definitely in on this one.

Great steel in a great knife. But my knife money for this part of the year already is spent. Bad timing for the drop.

Do the AWT Agent scales fit?
not compatible. the metal piece that houses the lock is different between the g10 and lw versions.
Thank you!
i'm hoping these liner delete manufacturers will make lw compatible models now that they have screws.
Per AWT:
"We do not have plans currently but it will be discussed in our next meeting for new designs."

Yeah. I caved. I really like my Sage M4. Dunno if I'll ever see a Manix for $117 again.
I see that BHQ is selling the BD1N LW Manix for $127, so $117 for the exclusive seems a deal with the M4 upgrade.

Got one on the way! This will be my first M4 knife and I'm excited it's a Manix 2 LW. Now I need a Sage 5 to match.

Got one, too good of a deal with that steel in 2023. I'd probably regret it later if I didn't get one. Looking forward to trying out M4.

Lol, so did I for the exact same reasons. Way too good a price! And that's a heck of a platform for M4, IMO.

I really wanted to try the LW, and I like steels like M4, Rex 45, and K390. At this price it’s a bugout killer for sure, it’s one of the things I love about exclusives.

Funny you say that, I have two bugouts that I never carry. The M2 LW is much more knife, it inspires more confidence. I weighed my 20CV LW last night and the paltry 2.9 oz (on my scale) cemented my decision to get the M4!
