For those who have one, I want one. Which would you choose plain edge or serrated ?

Well, I only have one. A blue PE. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> It performs well and if I were to choose, I'd pick PE. But SE also works fine, depends on what you're gonna use the knife for and how proficient you are at sharpening SE. Also let's not forget the personal prefferences. Pick whichever likes you most <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I think a SE would interrupt the beautiful, flowing lines of this design. Both my Chinese Folders (green and blue) are PE. Actually all my <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>'s are PE except for my G10 Harpy so I'm probably not the best person to ask <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>.

Mine is a green SE. I do favor SE Spydies in my collection as a percentage, but ..... I do agree that this particular knife appears to have been crafted to be a PE.
If you want a SE, don't be afraid of sharpening it ... They're easy to sharpen with the Sharpmaker kit, and they definitely stay sharper longer than a PE in regular day to day use.

I also have the C65 in both SE and PE. I normally prefer Serrated edge, but in this case I think the PE adds to the beauity of the design. So if you only want one C65 I suggest the PE. One of my favorite EDC's is this Bob Lum Chinese Folder with the Jade Green Alimite aluminum coated handle.

I think the serrated ones are harder to find, I think they are discontinued. I'm not sure, but they only list a plain edge in the 2003 catalog.
My 3(2 green, 1 blue) are all plain edge. I like the looks of the plain edge better. Clay is right, the serrations just don't look right on the Chinese folder. If you want serrations, a Police would be my vote.
