Some news on Glassheart

One of my sources told me that she is still on active duty at the Sheriff's Dept. She's not on leave or anything. I'm still trying to get info on how to contact her. If I hear anymore, I'll let you all know.

Glasshart emailed me 3 days ago and said my starmate was enroute and as a gift she gave me a native2..... BUT I emailed her back asking if she was also going to send me the Orange 93mm Rescue that I had on Backorder, NO REPLY.

There are still issues that glasshart has to deal with, like checking and replying to her email in a timely fashion. If I recieve the starmate and the "gift" native then I will be somewhat pacified, and hope I can find someone to trade me the native for an orange rescue.

Well time will tell if I even get the shipment..... not saying she isn;t going to mail it but with her current history on actually following thru with her buisness dealings who really knows if it is actually going to arrive.

Not to stir the pot anymore then I allready have but her email to me was both short and without any description as to her personal problems, which is her right as to her privacy..... by short I mean, "sorry about taking so long, knives are in the mail Bye bye" short.

I have had better luck dealing with people on Ebay, which is a real disappointment for me as glasshart came highly recommended.... Until she gets her personal life in Order and starts posting on the boards somewhat regularly again and not hiding behind her "husband" I refuse to recommend or deal with her.

J Smith was kind enough to speak to her husband, and this is the second time on my behalf that he has done so.... and each time a short email from glasshart appeared, thats the only way I know of to get ahold of her.

Hmm...Does this mean my Ronin is on the way?
If she´s working she should also be working her Spydie-shop!!
Wonder why Linda or Shawn doesn´t reply to the many threads about this situation.

Ok Recieved Package from Linda today with my Starmate and a Native II..... but NOT the orange 93mm rescue that I had on backorder with her from before I ordered the starmate.

SO I got a free knife that I don;t really want but still don;t have the one I really want.... <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Wierd is right, like commune/waco texas wierd....

Glasshart came with the highest recomendations in the world, everyone loves here and her speedy service. now she is nowhere and the only way to get product that is owed to you is to get a buddy to phone her husband so he can tell her to get the product out.

OK I wasn't gonna weigh in on this since I don't have a stake here, but I have a theory.

First off, she isn't a knife shop or a dealer or a storefront, and has no inventory. She told me she is a law enforcement dealer, which I think just means that she can order directly from the factory (on behalf of LEOs, principally) at a discount and Spyderco carries an account for her for the orders. That's why she didn't ask for payment until it arrived, she didn't have to pay Spyderco until later.

I suspect that when they started having "family problems" or whatever befell them, the money ya'll sent her probably got spent before the knives got ordered. Now she's probably got an overdue account with Spyderco, hasn't GOT your knife to send you, and Spyderco very possibly might have cut her off till she's current.

I see people keep asking "well why doesn't she just tell us" and if my theory is true, I'd say it's probably a humiliating situation and I wouldn't wanna face ya'll either.

Being a sheriff's deputy I doubt she consciously set out to rip ya'll off, but rather she probably got in a jam and spent the money.

Remember, this is all theory and has no basis in fact, except for the part about her being an LEO dealer - that part's true.

Howz about someone find out if some help from the forum members would help? We could each throw in a $10-$20, etc., and help clean this up. Help a fellow knife-knut out. Someone out there has to know her well enough...

Your suggestion doesn't account for Linda not contacting Yog about money he owes her (according to a previous post in another thread by Yog).

Still a mystery to me. I've had nothing but excellent dealings with Linda in the past. Hopefully things will get resolved soon.

If Linda needs money we will help out!! We have before, and we will again. This is a family forum, we help eachother, and give when we can!! We have members in India, Denmark, Rumania, germany, Poland...etc. who all know that this forums forumites HELPS!! If Linda has spend my Ronin money on medicine, whiskey or rent, I will have no trouble getting off her back. She has helped me many times, and it´s only fair I give back!! However, the situation is this, I don´t know anythin!! Is she sick, Is Shawn leaving... I care!! And I trust Linda!! I justy want to be told what is going on!!
ALSO!! Not to be an ***, but if you don´t have a clue, don´t start guessing!!

Folks ~ I also owe money ($70 or so) for a Surefire 6P and 3 photons. Now whatever has befallen Linda it must have been pretty bad as I've had no answer to my numerous emails requesting a total from her. I hope we hear from her soon.
