Of those I currently own, I would probably like to keep either my CruCarta PM2 or Spy27 PM2. But I'd probably instead keep my Spy27 N5 that my wife and son gifted me. Total lack of fidget factor but it'll do anything I need without complaint and fits nicely in a pocket. Hard not to bring the S2XL along for the ride though.

Not sure what I would pick but G-10 Handle, Min .125 Thick Blade, Min 3.25 long Blade.

Manix is on short list but none in stock Black G-10, 🫠

So are all these responses correct? What were you actually asking for?

you don't know the answer, or you don't know the question? none of us are sure what you're asking.

I think there’s a pretty substantial language barrier happening in this-here thread.

GB1 would be my…..only 1, my last 1, my replace after burning house 1, my carry out of a burning house 1, my favourite 1, my most prized 1, my never sell 1 and any 1s I have missed….

But a Salt1 would be my desert island 1

Junction would be my fixed 1

Tough to pick. My favs are the Ti Framelock Military, Police4 FRN K390, Siren, and the Endura which would likely be represented by the serrated edge Pacific Salt in the center console of my car. Maybe substitute the Waterway for the Siren, since it's such a great small fixed blade.

Break it down: Police 4 in your pocket, Serrated Pacific Salt in your car, Waterway and Ti Framelock Military bundled in a Spec Ops sheath in your pack. I think I could live with that.

I’m taking a wild guess and assuming it was a typo of versatile

Vestigial?

Vespine?

I could do it with the Spy27 Stretch 2, would also consider the lc200N or magnacut Stretch 2.

I'm thinking he ment versatile.

Perfect world I could get down to three - non
stainless work knife: 66-67hrc 10v or k390 shaman, stain proof work knife - magnacut shaman, and a slimmer, premium, dressier, out of work carry - maybe the possible upcoming Spyderco - SPK Lamia collab?

Now if you're going to ask me to narrow it down to a single knife for life? Tough. In fantasy land I'd take a ti scaled manix or p3 in magnacut. Honestly though neither of those fit my hands perfectly. Maybe that Lamia in the right steel. Short of that, sorry, I think I'm going to have to go with something like a magnacut Rosie or Inkosi. They just check more of my boxes in terms of being less than huge in the pocket (smaller than the shaman is preffered for outside of work EDC carry), ergo friendly, solid and durable handle material (sorry don't like frn), not too fragile of a tip, not too thin or too thick, washer construction, USA made.

Since you said "THE" and not "A" Spy27 Stretch 2, for a second I thought I´d have missed something... :grin-sweat
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)
