uninterested

I have noticed that both Spyderco forums have slowed down alot.Could it be that interest has droped.I know I haven't been to enthused about most of the latest models.Maybe there will be some more excitement when the paramilitary, spyderfly, grey calypso jr and hopefully a natural scale anniversery type Delica comes out.

I haven't been doing a lot of talking in the forums myself lately. You try saving money when all you see are reviews ...

Unfortunately I also didn't have much activity here That's mainly because I have so much work to do and even my weekends are usually spent there Only a few minutes stolen online now and then.

Same here. The spirit is willing, but after a work week and pre-winter work around the house (roof mostly) it gets hard to remain upright by the end of the day...

small knives dont intrest me. im into the larger(3.5 to 4)inch blades and preferably made in the U.S.A unfortunatly there arent many choices. as i see it theres the millie and chinook, i have a chinook and its too battle axe-ish, and the millie is a liner lock and im left handed. not a lot to talk about when there isnt all that much to intrest me anymore.

Heck, I'm here, but school from 8 to 4:30, followed by homework/study tends to slow one down a mite.

I've been away training Mondays through Fridays since May, so that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Spydercrew at the show in NYC in November! (Plus getting another peak at the Paramilitary.)

I had flash-light fever the last weeks.

Replace my MAGLites (4xD,2xAA,2xAAA,1xAAA) with the following:

SureFire E2e
Arc LS-L Standard
Arc AAA

This weekend I've bought a used Minolta XD-7/11 SLR camera, so now I'm after some good MD Rokkor lenses.

Still trying to find a Spyderco C32PS Spur however....

Also been very busy lately. Lots of overtime at work so I am exhausted at the end of the day. I have been lurking abit more than usual. I think it is just the time of year, season change, colder weather. I always seem to post more in the colder months.
Has nothing to do with the Spydies that are coming out. Man there are still many new Spydies that I am interested in, I am in the process of buying a house or looking anyways so funds are non-existent for knives right now. Take Care!!!

Good point, J Smith. I agree with you. It feels that about 2 years ago there were much more exciting and interesting topics than now. But I also am not very talkative; I browse the Forum every day, but I don't post regularly.
So I was thinking of doing a 'sabbatical': not reading the Forum for about a month, and then look what is happening. Bye.

Jeff, Yes I did. I ordered 2 Arc-AA seconds with my LSL-S. I got them last week. There's nothing that make them seconds as far as I can see. One was for my brother-in-law, the other will be a christmas gift for my father-in-law.
I'm waiting till a premium edition Arc AA get's out for my self.

My interest in recent models is not as great as my interest had been in older models. Recent purchases of Spyderco knives are usually updates of older models or older models that I did not have a chance to purchase the first time around. The Yojimbo might change that trend.

As far as forum activity, I think the "slow down" we're experiencing is because samo stopped posting pics of his jungle escapades.
