Is it worth an alert thread for this?

I would start one, but have no programming or AI skills relevant to locating drops in real time!

The Shaman seems to get more love, perhaps…?
I'm personally hoping buddafuco does one for the PM2 as well like he did for the Manix. I also find it surprising the PM2 doesn't get as much love on the official Spyderco forum, but it is what it is. I'm kinda hoping all the rage for the 15V Shaman leaves me a chance for one of the 15V PM2's ;)
Don’t give away your plan. Haha.

It could be madness if both drop at the “same time”…

Budda will probably do it, right? I mean, isn’t that Beau’s only job, after all? Always carrying the team, at least carrying me.

Much rather have this than the Manix2.

Question for Sal. Are we likely to see a permanent production 15V knife with the BBB heat treat? Do you expect the colab knife to be available long enough for everyone who wants to get one to be able to acquire it?

I'm keen to see Pete (Cedric & Ada YouTube Channel) do his twisted sisal rope cut test with it. It's likely a new record in the making.

I'm almost positive the BBB designed model is planned to be regular production

Buddafucco is what I’d say the most valuable piece to the puzzle. Great guy! He takes all his personal time to help so many.

Absolutely. I wouldn't have gotten one of the 15V Manixes without him. I just hope if he does do an alerts thread for the PM2 and Shaman, it can hopefully avoid all the vitriol that the Manix alert and discussion threads gathered. That experience honestly kinda turned me off to the forum for a while.

I thought that also, but earlier in the thread he indicates it might have a limited production life being a colab.

Wouldn’t Maxamet cut longer, in theory? My read is that 15V should be somewhere between 10V/K390 and Maxamet.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I think he broke the Maxamet record just recently with Magnacut. Surprising result but it did. It may have been helped along by an unusual sharpening method. Who knows. Check it out for yourself. It's one of his most recent videos.

Oh man, here we go! Appreciate all the work you do Buddafucco! Will there be a specific PM2 alerts thread as well?

I'd like one of these over the Shaman.

This is the only reason I hate Spyderco. I have the Manix 15V and have absolutely no need for the PM2 or Shaman. But there is a small part of me that thinks… “Wow a complete set of these would be cool.”.
Endura AUS-8, Manix 2 S30V, Alcyone BD1N, PM2 Micarta Cruwear, Native 5 Maxamet (2nd), Para 3 Maxamet (2nd), Magnacut Mule, Z-Wear Mule, BBB 15V Manix 2, REC PM3 10V Satin, Dragonfly Salt 2, GB2 M4.

I feel you...Just bought and traded a second 15V Manix to get a K390 PM2 NIB. And I STILL think I might buy the 15V PM2 :squinting-tongue . I used to not really like the PM2, but time changes preferences.
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

I got 2 of the Manix and I'm likely to get the Shaman, so I believe I will sit this one out. Happy hunting!
