I'll pass on the Shaman. Might try to battle the hordes again to get a PM2. Happy to have gotten a 15V Manix, so I don't feel any real pressure to chase these. Just would be nice to have a 15V PM2, as I do enjoy carrying that model more than the Manix when it comes down to it.

Same, just sold my regular Shaman, I'm waiting for the Racing Shaman to get another. That 15V PM2 though....

It's on the site as coming soon. $387 MSRP so $270.90 MAP

You know I'm in for one of these. I watched the manix come and go by with a lot of anxiety but held my ground hoping for this.

I was fortunate to get a manix. A shaman would be really neat to try out, but price-wise I'm not sure it makes sense for me.

The thick blade is against brand for BBB but I love the Shaman. Also got my eye out for a Chief, Manix XL, maybe a Millie2? Lil Native for work would not be frowned upon either.

Same feeling here, I got the Manix for $154... $270 for a 15V Shaman is a lot for me. I do want to try for a Shaman at some point but need to get it for a better price, like a second in whatever steel.

This is a great knife and steel combo, even better than the PM2 IMO.
Endura AUS-8, Manix 2 S30V, Alcyone BD1N, PM2 Micarta Cruwear, Native 5 Maxamet (2nd), Para 3 Maxamet (2nd), Magnacut Mule, Z-Wear Mule, BBB 15V Manix 2, REC PM3 10V Satin, Dragonfly Salt 2, GB2 M4.

Honestly, I’m gearing up for a big one here…

Like I said on Reddit, Shaman guys are like the eye of Sauron when it comes to a new, coveted shaman release.

Dark riders roaming the countryside whispers of a nameless fear rising in the east

“My precioussssssssss…”
Crucarta: Shaman (x2), Manix 2, Lil Native, Delica, GB2 & PM2
Notable: 52100 and Cruwear Millie. “15v-arta” Shaman. REC Manix. K-carta Endura, P4, Dragonfly and Delica.
Favorites: Shaman, Sage 5 lightweight, Sheeps Caribbean, Manix, Endela and all things Stretch

You better include the “Manix 2 15v” guys in with the Shaman guys. The 15v is selling on eBay for 300 now.

I might try to grab one. Probably a better chance to get the shaman instead of the mule. Hopefully the price keeps some of the scalpers and flippers at bay.

I’ve been lobbying for a K390 Shaman, but man I will be pumped on this and the PM2. I’d prefer Micarta, but the Brown G-10 isn’t half bad.

I sincerely hope that a Millie 2 isn’t far behind.

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I'm surprised the sequel wasn't a PM2 (edit: nvm the PM2 is on the 2023 list. I couldn't find it on the spyderco website for whatever reason), but the shaman looks like a really nice knife. I'm probably gonna sit out these releases until they bring out something smaller (ideally a watch pocket size knife) though.

Hey now…..the 15V manix is the first I’ve ever owned. First sprint run I got retail, first manix I’ve ever owned. The shaman though……….by far my favorite spyderco model as far as common models are concerned.
:bug-red-white CTS-XHP Shaman, S90V PM2, S30V PM2, 20CV Para 3, S110V Para 3, 4V Manix 2 XL. More please.

I may just pick up the mule, hopefully the drop will be large and it will last at least a half hour, and the purchase quantity will be limited.
