if it's anything like the manix drops, good luck. it was hard getting a manix and i know the shaman is more popular. sad to say, but this one will be a flipper's dream. i hope everyone that wants one will be able to get one.

With my Manix 2 XL Cruwear in the mail and my DLC M4 Micarta Shaman unused in my sock drawer, I’m going to sit this one out. I hope whoever is super stoked on the variant snags one!

I guess we’ll see.

I personally feel that the whole flipping thing is problematic. There are so many areas of collecting across which it seems to occur. But there doesn’t seem to be a way to prevent it. And apparently that’s just the way the free market works, in this instance.

Dealers could make it an 1 per customer thing to start with. But i fear the situation is indeed hopeless. Spyderco just does not produce enough units before releasing them.
In my eyes the only thing they can do to make it fair to all there fans internationally is just hold them back make more and then flood the market in one swift large batch at the same time. And believe me no matter the size of that batch it will always sell out quickly but at least people will have a chance. Now its only for the lucky few customers in the US and all others just do not count...

Bump for hopeful imminent release
You made me panic for a second there. My wallet is NOT ready. You should see my last gas and electric bill. Also this is the thread to bump. Please don't bump the alert thread with anything but alerts as my and others emails/alerts are tied to it. But I share your enthusiasm for this release. Carrying my Manix today.

I hope they drop at the same time, so my chances for the PM2 will increase slightly.

Does anyone have any insight when these will start dropping?

I while hunting for the PM2 15V...I recall seeing some retailers speculating sometime in the May time frame.

Hi G-Primo,

We generally don't do the "when" question until we have them in hand and they've been through
QC. We do the reveal which is usually close, but glitches happen.

Thanks for the info Sal! I totally understand the quality control aspect. We all want a great product, and excited about the Shaman in 15V.

Hope I can get one 😎 without too much stress. Thanks Sal!

Deadboxhero,

You son of a b!tch! You have a couple Irish beers and you had to whip it out and flaunt it, didn't you? What gives you the right!?

Wait, is that your name on the blade? Lol!

Just because your logo is on the blade doesn’t mean you always get the knife first.

Love my Manix but not going to lie I might try for the Shaman, would be my first.

They nailed it on the shaman, love the stonewashed pocket clip and backspacer.

Problem solved by replacing Maxamet with BBB15V in the standard line up. Reserve Maxamet for limited sprints going forward.
